Ummm...

Hi.

I haven't updated this in ages o_O I use my DA more. But I still comment and stuff here though!

I'm working on this tattoo-design-turned-into-realism piece. Its a rose entwined around a nautical star ^^ My friend requested it as a tattoo and I decided to make my own 'prettier' version.

I know I was gonna write something else but I forgot lawls XD

OH YEAH my friend got out of the hospital today. He attempted suicide and had to go to a rehabilitation center for youth. He's out now but doesn't look too good and still has to participate in group therapy. He didn't seem happy to see the gang again :( I hope he's alright.

Well, that's about it. Other news can be found on DA :)

Tattoo Design

Random artsies I decided to post ^^

Tattoo design of myself that I made! I drew it last year and have since then wanted to get it tattooed. Badly. My parents said "we'll think about it... *disapproving look*". But I'll turn 18 in... 3 years T_T I can wait though.

My 'brother' <3 asked me to draw him a dragon tattoo design ('cause he saw *points above* and liked it). He wanted it with not too many details, tribal style and looking miffed. This is what I came up with!

Inside joke with Dave (first-breath on DA). We were chatting one day and fooled around. I'm thinking of posting it as my dev ID lawls XD I call it "CrAzEh ShAe" *is proud*

I very rarely post photos of myself, but... yeah. YAY for grainy and ugly webcam piccies!1

I think its safe to upload this here... anyway birthday/random gift art for my brother. Well not actually 'brother' but we're so close that it seems that way ^^ Soon to be colored!

OMFG I dunno what's wrong with me O_O Yesterday I was all like gloomy and today I'm all hyperyaylawlsparty... but I'm so effing BORED.
I actually can't wait for school to start! Just 2 weeks left of waiting, but my registration thingy is next week. Sure there are loads of people that I don't want to see their faces. AT ALL. But I don't care right now I just wanna do stuff instead of moping around uselessly all day.

Advice please...

Okay so I'm getting kinda miffed about this one person on DA (won't say the name). A few months ago he asked me to draw him something, like a request, of his character. I NEVER do requests but I just can't say no. I'm the kind of person who's nice to everyone even when I hate them and I get paranoid and worried when I think someone doesn't like me (especially in art).

So I told him "hmm maybe if I have time I have a lot of other art to do and requests won't be a priority". He keeps sending me notes like once a week asking if I'm done and telling me to hurry and stuff. Dammit. Shut up. I don't even wanna do the request but I don't know how to tell him.
I did a bit of research and he acts like that to everyone o_O

I'm scared that if I say "Well I really don't have time and drawings take a lot of work. I'd be happy to do a commission, but not a request. I'm really sorry." that he'll twist my words around and report me for something I didn't do.

Then again, if I say 'yes' he might take advantage of me and others will want a drawing knowing that I'm vulnerable.

Help meee. What should I write in a note to him?

zyleeth posted some of her first self-portraits and sketches she made when she was younger, so hey, why not embarass myself too!
I made it into some sort of "Shae through the ages" histogram thing. Anyway, enjoy and have a good laugh! Some of these are never-before seen!

2001: My first self-portrait, and the one closest to what I look like today. I was only 10 when I made this ^^ Back then, I didn't even know I had a dragon spirit. I believed in dragons, but that's as far as it went.

And woah omgwtf is going on with the abnormally long paws o_O

2002: Color scheme the same as today and wings became trasparent. Design changed, but not too dramatically. Note, pose was taken from Tiina Purin.

I had some sort of shading inability back then >.<

2003: Oookay major design change. I was going through this dark/evil phase at the time. I changed my name to Zantor, my gender to male and it became more of a role-playing character than a spiritual guide.

2004: My early watchers on Deviantart might remember this. Again, I was going through that wierd phase, but I switched everything back to how it was. I actually like the body structure in this.

2005: This one's in my scraps on DA. Everyone thinks its cute and adorable! But notice how the farthest wing is like, dislocated and twisted in this impossible way.

2006: Today! My favorite self-portrait till now. I don't see any flaws in it (shut up if you do *shakes fist*). I don't think my design will ever change again since I'm very comfortable with it.

I had lunch with my friends today (because usually I go eat at home) and yeah. 'Twas very fun! Then this guy came to see us and he was really cute like omgbucketsofdrool. Turns out he's my friend's friend and he was super nice, charming, funny, sociable... you know, all those qualities we females look forward to in males. He kept trying to get some contact with me, of which I was flattered, but unfortunetely I have this habit of not looking people in the eye and never speaking when I'm shy. So it looked like I wasn't interested but I really was! I'm just too much of an introverted anti-social bitch. I'm so desperate to be loved by others and yet I'm not even helping my cause. Great job Shae *cough*sarcasm*cough* o_O I think its because I've been rejected and unaccepted all my life, and now whenever there's a link trying to form between me and someone else, my fear builds up and I get withdrawn. Anyway... I'll work something out... I hope *sweat drop* ^^;

Ugh below is a pointless and stupid rant:

So at school, like every month a new synonym is added for the word "penis". I know that there are already a few like 'male genitals', etc. but now the words used to indicate a penis are 'graine' and 'poche' ('graine' is 'seed' and 'poche' is 'pocket') . WHAT THE HELL?!

Now I wouln't care if people were matire enough, but they're obviously not. If you say one of those words in a sentence (using the proper meaning of it) they'll laugh and be all like 'OMGPENISLOL'...

Rawr.

Example: The other day I was talking with my friend and she asked if she could have the rest of my chips, then I said "ok, mais y reste juste des graines dans le fond" ("okay, but there are only crumbs left inside") then she starts laughing her ass off. Right. o_O

...

The near-death experience of my finger o_O

Yes folks, my middle finger almost got killed today. So I was in technology class and we're building this CD box with electric stuff and wood and plastic and glass. I had to cut a side of my wooden plank because it was too long so obviously I used the ribbon saw. What I didn't know is that the middle one didn't work well.
There I go with my protective glasses and my wood and I install myself at the machine then turn in on. As I was sawing, I noticed the machine's ribbon stopped whenever I pushed my piece of wood. Usually the machines cut right through it smoothly but not this one. So I continued cutting and then when I reached the end, I pushed one last time to get the piece through and it went too fast that my finger followed.
Ouchies x_x I bled all over the classroom. The ribbon went in a diagonal pattern from the left tip of my finger to the middle of my nail. It BURNS like the fiery pits of HELL!!!

On a brighter note, I got invited to the school's awards in June. I feel so important, even with my half-decapitated finger. Its not every students that get an invitation, its the ones that excel at school and that are good role models based on what the teachers think. There are categories such as aptitude in art, in maths, most responsible student, etc. I wonder what I won ^^

Also, if one of you is capable, I'd like my DA avatar to have a transparent background (the one with my big head on it). I just think transparent backgrounds on avatars look spiffy but I'm uncapable of doing one o_O Paint Shop Pro is being a bitch again.

Uuuuugghh I miss my kitty T_T She wasn't just a cat, she was like my best friend.

Ya know when you have a bad day and come home to some happy meowing and leg-rubbing, that fuzzy feeling you get? The house is just so cold.

My mom said that she misses the company as well, and that in August when we get back from vacation we'll go to local shelters and shops to get not one but TWO kittens! We already picked out names for them too: Thomas for the male and for the female my mom wants her name to be Molly but I prefer Abigail (Abby).

The male is obviously going to be called Thomas (full: Thomas O' Malley) necause when I was little, my favorite movie was Disney's Aristocats and that's where I got the name Duchess from. Now, Duchess' mate in the movie is called Thomas O' Malley so hey, why not ^^ Its cute. And I also got Abigail from the movie as well, but she's not a cat, she's a goose o_O Oh well.

We also decided not to get a tuxedo kitty because Dut was unique, so they'll probably be beige or gray. Dut also had a pink scarf around her neck with heart designs, so the new kittens will get some as well. Wouldn't it be adorable for the future Tom to have a blue one with trucks! XD

Ummm hello again fellow dragonses ^^

Yesh I haven't updated in a while since I'm a DA freak but here's to sum up what happened in the past weeks.

-Kitty got sick.
-Then she died (liver failure).
-I went insane.
-Got a hold of myself and continued my life normally.
-Am participating in the May DAX.
-Drew a piccy of Duchess (my cat) which is to be colored shortly).
-Changed my wing color from whiteish-gray to whiteish-blue.
-Exam week is soon o_O

I'd like to know if you guys prefer my gray membranes or my new blue ones.

And I'd like someone to give me 10 000$. Now. Must... go to... Heathrow *dies* T_T

NOTE: I'm in a desperate need of someone who makes custom dragon plushies and who lives in Canada or US. Do you make some or do you know an artist who does? Tell me!

Its my hatching day today! Lookies at the presents I got! One came from my wing sis Neroth (link), here's the one Ryn made of me and her (link), an very unexpected gifty from Riok (link) and last but not least, the wonderful Deanna drew a picture of myself as half human/half dragoness (link) ^^ They're all so beautiful!

And what better gifty to myself than actually fixing the Espion pic? Yes, that's right peeps! I played around with settings on the computer, scanner and paint shop pro and finally got it to look right!

So I drew an anthro dragoness of some sort. She looks a bit like and ancient egyptian goddess but anyway, she represents lust, passion and beauty.

I colored her golden yellow with jewelry and blackish hair but now I'm wondering which color should I put for the transparent wings. I was thinking a pastel pink maybe, but it has to be a really light color.

What do you guys think?

Sorry for the lack of a WIP but I'm too lazy to scan something that's unfinished >.<
